I’m currently reading Blake Mycoskie’s (Founder of TOMS shoes) book. I know, his name isn’t Tom. The TOMS stands for “Shoes for Tomorrow”. The book is great, so inspiring and references what’s current and changing. Emphasizing the greater good and how people who are lost in this technology rich environment still want to hold on to something, stand for something and play a part of the bigger picture. I recommend it to anyone who’s looking for something more, and ready to make an impact on the world around them. (I hope that’s you!) Learn More Here: Start Something That Matters

Learn More Here: Start Something That Matters

Two Books that Brighten the grey days.

This book changed my life when I read it.  I know it’s super famous, and maybe a cliche, but it is one exquisite story.  The characterization stands out beautifully, and the kindness is immeasurable. I think Jean Valjean is the most benevolent man who has ever existed (or not existed).

This is one I’m still working on, but it is quite splendid, and I just adore the way Pip describes people and their personalities.

We spent as much money as we could, and got as little for it as people made up their minds to give us. We were always more or less miserable, and most of our acquaintance were in the same condition. There was a gay fiction among us that we were constantly enjoying ourselves, and a skeleton truth that we never did. To the best of my belief, our case was in the last aspect a rather common on” -Pip
